Salt and Light Travel Co. provides experience design, planning, and travel coordination services for group experiences. Our role is to design meaningful, purpose-driven experiences and coordinate logistics with third-party vendors.

All bookings made with third parties are subject to those providers’ own terms and conditions. We are not liable for the acts, omissions, failures, or negligence of any third-party vendor, supplier, or service provider.

Nothing on this Website constitutes legal, tax, accounting, financial, insurance, business, investment, or other professional advice of any kind.
The content on this Website is provided for general informational purposes only. You should not act or refrain from acting on the basis of any content on this Website without seeking appropriate professional advice for your specific situation. Salt and Light Travel Co. expressly disclaims all liability in respect to actions taken or not taken based on any or all the contents of this Website.

We will use commercially reasonable efforts to keep the Website operational. We may carry out maintenance at any time for any reason, with or without notice to you.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Website or any service or content at any time, for any reason, with or without notice to you. We have no liability to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance.

To use some or all of the functionalities of the Website, you may be required to register an account. You will not provide false information in the registration or management of your account. We reserve the right to refuse services, terminate accounts, or cancel orders at our discretion. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at admin@saltandlighttravelco.com.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login information and for all Website use via your login information. 9. SMS Communications
When you voluntarily provide your mobile phone number and consent to receive SMS messages, you agree to receive text messages from Salt and Light Travel Co., sent from (617) 639-3062, regarding booking updates, travel reminders, experience coordination updates, and important trip information.

Salt and Light Travel Co. serves bilingual communities, including Spanish-speaking clients and participants. In the event of any conflict or ambiguity between English and Spanish versions of any communications, documents, or website content, the English version shall control unless otherwise stated in a signed agreement.
Part 5: Your Experience and Bookings
11. Travel-Specific General Provisions

| Travel Insurance | IT IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED THAT YOU OBTAIN COMPREHENSIVE TRAVEL INSURANCE BEFORE, DURING, AND AFTER THE EXPERIENCE. SALT AND LIGHT TRAVEL CO. CANNOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR DENIED ENTRY OR COSTS INCURRED AS A CONSEQUENCE OF INSUFFICIENT OR INAPPROPRIATE TRAVEL INSURANCE. |
12. Assumption of Travel Risk
You understand and agree that travel may involve hazardous activities, some in remote areas of the world. Inherent hazards and risks include, but are not limited to, risk of injury or death from: motor vehicle collisions, animals, roadway hazards, slips and falls, criminal or terrorist acts, government actions, consumption of food or non-potable water, exposure to the elements, your own negligence and the negligence of others, attack by or encounter with insects, reptiles, or animals, accidents or illness in remote places without medical services, COVID-19 or other pandemics, diseases, or viruses, fatigue, physical exertion for which you are not prepared, or other such accidents.
You understand that the description of these risks is not complete and that unknown or unanticipated risks may result in injury, illness, or death. By participating in any experience coordinated by Salt and Light Travel Co., you accept and assume full responsibility for any and all risks of illness, injury, or death and agree to hold harmless and fully release Salt and Light Travel Co. from any and all claims associated with a trip, including any claims of third-party negligence. This agreement also binds your heirs, legal representatives, and assigns.
13. Purchases and Payments
All experience registrations and bookings are processed through WeTravel, our primary booking and payment platform. All registrations, regardless of payment method, are documented through WeTravel and are subject to the booking terms confirmed at the time of registration.
In limited circumstances, and at our sole discretion, we may accept payment by check or Zelle. Any such arrangement will be confirmed in writing prior to the booking being considered active. Payments made by check or Zelle are final and non-reversible upon receipt.
You represent and warrant that any payment method you use is authorized and that all information you provide is true, accurate, and complete. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any purchase in our discretion at any time.
14. Cancellations, Refunds and Changes
Cancellation and refund policies for specific experiences are outlined in your WeTravel booking confirmation and/or individual service agreement. By completing your registration, you agree to the cancellation terms stated at the time of booking.
Salt and Light Travel Co. reserves the right to modify, postpone, or cancel an experience in the event of circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, affected clients will be notified promptly and options will be communicated in good faith.
15. Minor Participants
Group experiences coordinated by Salt and Light Travel Co. may include participants under the age of 18. All minor participants must have a signed parental or guardian consent form on file prior to participation. Minors must be accompanied by a designated adult chaperone approved by the group leader.
Salt and Light Travel Co. is not responsible for the supervision of minor participants during any experience. That responsibility lies with the group leader, chaperones, and parents/guardians.
16. Photography, Video and Content Release
Salt and Light Travel Co. may capture photographs and video footage during group experiences for use in marketing materials, social media, and promotional content. By participating in an experience coordinated by Salt and Light Travel Co., participants grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use such imagery for business purposes.
If you or any member of your group does not consent to being photographed or filmed, you must notify Salt and Light Travel Co. in writing prior to the experience.
Part 6: Artificial Intelligence and Technology
17. Use of Artificial Intelligence
Salt and Light Travel Co. uses artificial intelligence tools to assist with internal content creation, communication drafting, experience design, and business operations. No personal client data or visitor information is entered into these tools.
AI tools are used under human oversight to draft general content and templates. All AI-assisted content is reviewed and applied by Salt and Light Travel Co. personnel before use. We do not rely on fully automated decision-making that produces legal or significantly impactful effects without appropriate human review.
18. Artificial Intelligence and Automated Access Prohibition
You may not use, access, or interact with this Website or its content in connection with the development, training, improvement, or operation of any artificial intelligence system, large language model, machine learning model, or similar technology.
You may not use automated scripts, bots, crawlers, scrapers, or any other automated means to access, collect, copy, or monitor any content or information on this Website without our prior written consent. Any unauthorized automated access constitutes a material breach of these Terms and may result in immediate termination of your access, legal action, or both.
Part 7: Your Obligations
19. User Responsibility
You are solely responsible for your use of the Website, which is subject to all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations. You agree:

22. Copyrights and DMCA
We respect the intellectual property rights of others. If you suspect copyright infringement on the Website, please contact us at admin@saltandlighttravelco.com.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PROVIDED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL WE, OUR OWNERS, DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, SUCCESSORS, OR ASSIGNS BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, EXEMPLARY, OR SPECIAL DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF GOODWILL, BUSINESS, PROFITS, PROPERTY, DATA, OR PRIVACY, OR OTHER DAMAGES OR LOSSES RELATING TO YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE WEBSITE.

| Equitable Relief | Either Party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief to remedy an actual or threatened breach. |
| Entire Agreement | These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and other disclosures, constitute the entire agreement between you and Salt and Light Travel Co. regarding this Website. |
27. Limitation on Time to File Claims
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ANY CAUSE OF ACTION OR CLAIM YOU MAY HAVE ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OF USE, THE WEBSITE, OR ANY EXPERIENCE COORDINATED BY SALT AND LIGHT TRAVEL CO. MUST BE COMMENCED WITHIN ONE (1) YEAR AFTER THE CAUSE OF ACTION ACCRUES. AFTER THAT PERIOD, ANY SUCH CAUSE OF ACTION OR CLAIM IS PERMANENTLY BARRED.

The following sections survive any expiration or termination of these Terms to the full extent necessary for their enforcement and for the protection of the party in whose favor they operate:
