I’m the forever-curious founder of Salt & Light Travel Co. Through my boutique travel agency, I’m able to live out my values of faith, family, and service to others—and I feel so blessed to be able to help Salt & Light travelers do the same.
My Story
The Salt & Light Travel Co. story begins with a shift in perspective. Years ago, I stopped giving material gifts to my family and friends and started gifting experiences instead — a dinner shared, a show that made us laugh, and eventually, trips that brought us closer in ways no object ever could.
Because most of us don’t need more stuff — we need more time that feels sacred, shared, and memorable. As I planned these journeys for my own loved ones, I discovered that my creative spark and deep love of meaningful connection paired perfectly with my professional background.
Before launching Salt & Light, I spent over 20 years in the life sciences industry — leading projects, training strategy, instructional design, and performance consulting across global teams. I learned how to align big visions with detailed execution. Now, I bring that same thoughtful, structured approach to your group travel design.

The other side of Salt & Light Travel Co. is helping travelers live out their faith boldly, wherever they go. When I traveled with my own family, I always found this to be a challenge—so I made it my intention to incorporate faith elements into every itinerary I planned.
This doesn’t have to be the full focus of your trip (though if you’re seeking a faith-based pilgrimage, we can certainly help!). It can be as simple as attending service at the local chapel, and seeing how your brothers and sisters halfway across the world worship. It can be sharing your table, your traditions, and your faith with others you encounter—and expanding your worldview in the process.
