I built this company at the intersection of two things I know deeply: how people learn and grow, and how powerful it is to experience that together.
Some call me a quiet powerhouse. What they are usually referring to is the combination more than 20 years of learning experience design and organizational development across life sciences, small business, nonprofit, and beyond, paired with a genuine love for bringing people together through experiences that actually mean something.
I founded Salt and Light Travel Co.® because leaders kept bringing their communities together for experiences that mattered deeply to them, without the design expertise to make those experiences truly deliver. That is the gap I fill.
A more thoughtful way to design group experiences.
I hold a Master of Education and am a Certified Travel Professional with deep roots in organizational learning and human centered design. That background means I do not start with a destination. I start with your people, your purpose, and the outcome you want to create.
Every detail of the experience is then designed to support what your gathering is meant to hold. I am not the tour operator. I am your experience design partner, and that distinction makes all the difference

My approach to partnership starts with curiosity. We discover and make decisions together, looking at every experience through both a macro and micro lens — the big picture of what the gathering is meant to accomplish and the small details that shape how people feel moving through it. I bring visionary thinking and modern tools to every engagement so the planning is organized, intentional, and ahead of what most leaders expect.
I genuinely enjoy building the materials that bring an experience to life — whether that means a pre-trip orientation guide, a facilitated workshop, a reflection activity, or a resource your group takes with them. I bring the same instructional design rigor to those pieces that I bring to the experience itself.

Why Salt and Light
Travel can be a force for good.
Our name was inspired by the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:13 through 16, a reminder to live with purpose, reflect what is good, and bring light into the world around us.
We believe the leaders we work with are already doing exactly that in their own organizations, communities, and spheres of influence. Our role is to design experiences that strengthen and extend that impact — through intentional gatherings, responsible travel, and a deep respect for the people we serve and the places we visit. Every experience is designed to leave people and places better than we found them.
